It’s Here! We’ve Only Gone And Done It! Our Brand New Website …

We have been using Facebook for years now (and will continue doing so) BUT we have found it to be very restrictive when it comes to selling our products, especially our ever increasingly popular local and chemical free veg boxes.

So in order to address this we have build our Greens of Minster website which is totally dedicated to our veg boxes.

So if you fancy trying one of our yummy local veg boxes then go ahead and order one online. If you like what you see and taste then let us know and we can set up a weekly box for you.

You may be asking yourself “what’s different about the veg at Greens’s of Minster?” … well, let me tell you:

• IT’S LOCAL. Over 75 of our items are local throughout the year. In our case this means within only 6 miles of the shop! Why is this worth shouting about?

  • Reduces carbon footprint. Produce is only transported a few miles rather than across the whole country or even from abroad!

  • Keeps money in the local economy.

  • We know where the produce comes from and who grows it.

  • Fresher. As an example our Asparagus comes from Minster. Very often it is on our shelves within a couple of hours of being harvested. The very same asparagus is supplied to the supermarkets and takes 4 days to appear on their shelves! And we sell ours cheaper!

• IT’S CHEMICAL FREE. Our local produce is chemical free. No chemical fertilizers, pest killers (pesticides), weed killers (herbicides), hormones, or drugs. Our local farms utilize biological farming where a pests natural enemies are introduced which themselves do not harm the crop. “If A Bug Won’t Bite It, Why Should You?”
